Our tree has lemons! It’s a great time of year for me. I get to start making lemonade. Even though they are a year round fruit, February is when the lemons are at one of their peaks (ready for pickin’). Then again in August. Yum!
Tip: If you only want to use a little bit of juice from your lemon and don’t want to cut open the whole thing (like me) this is what you do. Roll the lemon, stick a toothpick through it, squeeze out the juice, put the toothpick back through hole, refrigerate and save for later.
