Refreshing Cucumber MargaritaπŸ₯’

I recently made this cucumber margarita. It is super delicious! πŸ˜‹

It all started with my daughter who is a craft cocktail bartender and she made one for me. Every time she came to visit, that is the drink we would ask her to continue to make. It’s simple, fast and yummy! We’ve tried it with Vodka and Tequila. Tequila is hands down the best way to have it. I love tequila! It gives it a different flavor. We used Don Abraham, which is our new favorite and it’s reasonably priced.

I am going to give you a few variations depending on how you want to drink this.

Ingredients:
β€’ 1 bottle of Don Abraham
β€’ 1-2 cucumbers
β€’ 15-20 limes
β€’ tajin for the rim of the glass
β€’ a dash of agave for sweetness
β€’ muddler
β€’ shaker

Single glasses
Muddle 5 thin slices of cucumber in a shaker. Then add juice from 1 lime. Pour 1 to 2 shots of tequila depending on how strong you like it. Shake all ingredients. Rub leftover lime around rim of glass and spin it in some tajin upside down. Pour the shaken tequila mixture into your favorite margarita glass and add ice to the top. Put a lime slice on the rim and serve.

Another version
You can puree the cucumber in a bigger batch. Blend 1 whole cucumber sliced with 1/2 cup water or a little less (thick not watery).Β Store in the fridge and use as needed.

How to make the drink from the puree
Add 2 tablespoons of the puree to a glass rather than muddling. Pour 1 to 2 shots of tequila per drink depending on how strong you want it to be. Add ice. Then squeeze in one lime per drink.
