Can you spell Albuquerque? Me either! LOL! I always have to look it up. 🤣

Well, that is where we decided to take our family trip this year. It was super fun! I’m going to give you a list of things we did while out there just in case you are thinking about paying a visit.

We stayed in this huge Airbnb. It had a pool and hot tub, but the best part was this view. 😍

We went to ride on the Sandía Peak Tramway.

Then off to their restaurant for some lunch. Everything was good there.

The area was cool to see in the summer. There were ski lifts but no snow.

Then we went shopping in old town Albuquerque. Found some cool Native American shops and jewelry.

The next day we went white water rafting in Taos with New Mexico River Adventures.

The following day we took the train to SantaFe. It was a great place to visit. I wish we had more time to spend here. Just means we need to visit again. 😊

First we ate at this cute restaurant called The Shed. Sooo good!!!

Then we went to Loretta chapel to see the staircase. Wish! Pretty cool!

Of course while we were there we had to go to Meow Wolf. It’s the original one. We’ve been to the one in Vegas and Houston.

The next day I wanted to go to a hot springs. So I opened up ChatGPT to have it give me an all day itinerary and it did not disappoint. It was probably the best day we had there. It took us to Jimenez Hot Springs. The scenery was beautiful along the way. It’s a little bit of a trek but well worth it.

We also had lunch at near by Jemez Falls and did a little mini hike that felt like a big one going up hill. LOL! But we made it through.

On our way home we stopped at Highway 4 Bakery and Cafe. Its a cute small place to have some sweet treats and a coffee.

On our last day we took it easy playing games watched the fútbol, eating in, drinking by the pool. The weather was perfect! Now I want to retire there. LOL!

I really wanted to do the hot air balloon ride but we waited too long to book and the only day we could go was sold out. If you plan to go, make sure you do it a few days ahead just in case.
