I recently went to the CreativePro Week conference. It was awesome!! One of the many many highlights was getting these earrings. They are super duper glittery. Thanks to Khara Plicanic for making them. They really are special, a designers dream! 🌈 Check out all the other cool stuff I did while in Arizona. 👇

I also got to have a little bit of some down time and went horse back riding at the Koli Equestrian Center. It was a relaxing time away from everything with a beautiful back drop. The sunset and landscape were amazing! I also managed to find a unicorn. 😉

There were a ton of workshops that I really loved! Too many to name. I enjoyed learning more about scripts, GREP, styles, the new AI generator, and soo much more. Now I just need to put everything into good use in my projects. LOL!
The conference rooms were very cold and the summer heat outside was always above 100 degrees. So, it was a blizzard and a heat wave at the same time. Next time, I need to take lots more layers and a thicker cardigan just in case. They fed us food for breakfast and lunch. It was delicious! They had a pool outside that was a great addition. This hotel was on Native American land. There was a lot of history there. It was pretty magical. Check out their website: Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass
Lucky for us, we never really had to leave the hotel. They provided a free shuttle to the outlet mall and casino near by. There were three restaurants to choose from in the hotel if you wanted something different.

If you want to try a more intimate design conference where you can mingle with other creatives and workshop leaders, this is for you. There were soo many workshops that I was blown away by their content. Check out what was on the agenda. Everyday was full of learning either InDesign, Photoshop, Ilustrator, PowerPoint and more. I came away with a ton of knowledge and of ideas I didn’t know I needed or even knew existed. I think my favorite part was the three minutes max demonstrations in all the main applications. I still think InDesign is the best one of all, right David? LOL! 😉 I can’t wait to attend next year’s in Washington! Until next time…
