Have you ever been to adult summer camp? Well, that’s kind of how Design Ranch is. There’s really cool cabins with the most comfortable beds. Late night smore’s by the fire. Some bull riding competiveness and evening drinks to keep you hydrated and the vinyl lounge to keep you dancing the night away. It’s soo much fun! AIGA Austin puts this conference together every other year. It’s been happening for a very long time. And I’ve been lucky enough to attend it 4 times. Once you experience Design Ranch, you want to go every time it comes around. Camp Waldemar is where it’s held and they really take good care of you. They feed you breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the food is amazing! It’s such a beautiful place to get away from city life and make new friends or see old friends from years past.

This is not any ordinary design conference. This one is for you to get away from your desk and all the design work and get your hands dirty. They offer workshops like soap making, leather working, watercolor, resin and acrylic art, and soo much more.
