A tequila shot and a sip of beer to wash it down? Or do you like to lick some salt and suck a lime? Do you even like tequila? Do you like taking shots or making margaritas? Do you like both? If you said yes to any of these, then great!! You are in the right place. So, there are a few different types of tequila, about 5 to be exact. The main ones though that people talk about are reposado, anejo and blanco. Let’s start with reposado. It is brown in color and has been aged for 2 months to one year in oak. The second one is anejo, which is a lighter brown and has been aged one to three years in oak. The last one is blanco (silver), which is clear in color. It has not been aged at all. It’s the purest form. Blanco is my favorite and that is what will be listed most.
These are my most favorite tequilas (not in any order)…

Are you looking to try a refreshing margarita? Try my recipe with the Don Abraham tequila and make this cucumber margarita. Try one of the tequilas I mentioned above and let me know how you like them. Also, do you have a favorite tequila? Do tell! I’m alway on the lookout to trying something new myself.
